In the RFP, total budget suggested is around $60,000. Does this include matching fund? or Not?
This is the budget without the matching funds added. About the matching fund, I may have problems. Is there any other ways for it except contacting industry and/or our state DOT? Any suggestions?
Some people use existing state DOT projects as match. Essentially they build an extension onto an existing project as long as that project is acceptable as match under existing USDOT rules which are listed in the RFP. Valerie Lefler () can answer specific questions regarding specific match.
In your email below, there will be another RFP coming out in the June/July time frame. Is it simply second round of RFP or related to this February round?
This is the RFP associated with the second fiscal year of MATC. There will simply be more lead time for this RFP.
In case of collaboration with another University, is there a total budget suggested (or maximum) per year ?
There are no minimums or maximums. I would suggest ~$60,000 per researcher would be a good target.
